Mineral Area Council on the Arts (MACOA) is thrilled to partner with the City of Farmington to welcome back TheaterWorksUSA with their spectacular production of Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical! This lively and hilarious adaptation of the beloved picture book series by Mo Willems will delight audiences at the Farmington Centene Center on Saturday, February 24th at 3:00 PM.

Based on the #1 New York Times best-selling, Caldecott Honor-winning books, this musical brings the Pigeon’s adventures to life with a script written by Mo Willems himself and music by Deborah Wicks La Puma, the composer behind the smash hit Elephant & Piggie’s We Are in a Play! With an innovative mix of catchy songs, laughter, and feathers, this family-friendly production is guaranteed to get everyone’s wings flapping.

About the Show:
It’s not easy being the Pigeon—he never gets to do ANYTHING! But when the Bus Driver has a crisis that could make her passengers (gasp!) late, Pigeon might just get the chance to prove himself. Will he rise to the challenge, or will his antics derail the entire day?

With a running time of approximately 60 minutes, this musical adventure is perfect for young audiences, especially those in Pre-K through Grade 2, and will captivate the entire family with its charm, humor, and toe-tapping tunes.
