Farmington 2024 Banner Winners and Map

Farmington is abuzz with excitement as we celebrate the 10th Annual Arts In Bloom Banner Contest! This year, a remarkable 150 young artists from our community have been selected as winners, showcasing their talent and creativity on banners displayed throughout the town. These colorful and imaginative works of art are a testament to the vibrant spirit of Farmington’s youth.

Discovering the Artists

To honor these talented students, we’ve created a detailed map highlighting their names, ages, and the locations where their banners are proudly displayed. As you stroll through Farmington, use this map to find and admire the winning artworks, each a unique expression of our community’s blossoming talent. The map is available and will also be distributed at the upcoming reception.

The Celebration: Join Us at Long Park

Mark your calendars for a special evening at Long Park on Thursday, May 30th, at 5 PM. We invite all winners, their families, friends, and art enthusiasts to join us for a heartfelt reception. Here’s what to expect:

  • Maps and Certificates: Each winner will receive a personalized certificate of achievement and a copy of the map marking their artwork’s location.
  • Group Photo: To commemorate this milestone event, we’ll gather all the winners for a group photo. This image will be featured in the local newspaper and on our website.
  • Community Spirit: The reception is more than just an awards ceremony; it’s a chance for our community to come together and celebrate the creativity that flourishes in Farmington.

A Decade of Artistic Excellence

As we celebrate the 10th year of the Arts In Bloom Banner Contest, it’s inspiring to reflect on how this event has grown. What started as a small local contest has blossomed into a beloved tradition that highlights the importance of arts in our community. Over the years, many students have had the opportunity to see their art displayed publicly, boosting their confidence and encouraging their artistic pursuits.
